Fr. Frank has been the Priest-in-Charge of St. Matthew's since January 2016. He came to St. Matthew's after serving in a bi-vocational setting as the Vicar of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Martinsville, Indiana while also serving as a certified Chaplain and Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor. He has provided ministry in the healthcare setting for over 20 years.

One of leadership capabilities that Fr. Frank enjoys is working collaboratively with congregations to challenge, envision and discern their gifts to be used for serving God in the world. He believes that the work of the church is to develop disciples who go out into the world living out their vocations and God-given gifts to the best of their abilities. At St. Matthew's, Fr. Frank works with the vestry (governing and visioning board) and staff in developing a vision for our work together.

Fr. Frank has served as the Co-Chair of the Commission on Ministry for the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis, the governing Board of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, and is currently serving on the Executive Committee for the Diocese.

Fr. Frank is married to Susan Wolf. His daugher, Clare, attends Marian University in Indianapolis. They enjoy the compnay of their two cats, Delilah and Gallagher. He loves to travel and is a life-long drummer.

One of his favorite stories in the bible is the call of Moses and the Burning Bush!

Parish Administrator & Organist/Choirmaster

Dale Caldwell

Dale Caldwell is the newest member of the St. Matthew's staff having recently retired as Associate Organist & Coordinator of the Music & Fine Arts Department of Second Presbyterian Church, Indianapolis. He is excited to have the opportunity to again serve as a musician in the Episcopal church, his spiritual home. He was baptized in and is a member of Trinity Episcopal, Indy.

Dale earned bachelor and masters degrees in organ performance from Indiana University where he was a student of Dr. Clyde Holloway. He has served as full-time Organist/Choirmaster in churches in Illinois, North Carolina and Indianapolis (Tabernacle Presbyterian Church). For a number of years, he was an area representative for the Schantz Organ Company, Orrville, Ohio. For more than 25 years, he has operated a Haviland china matching service and maintains a stock of more than 25,000 pieces.

He and his partner Neil Larson (whose first Episcopal church organist position was at St. Matthew's in the early 1970s while an organ student at Indiana University) live in a century home in the Meridian-Kessler area surrounded by a considerable mixture of contemporary and antique furniture as well as contemporary art glass and pottery. They are kept busy by their two dogs: Winston, a wire-haired terrier embodying unconditional love; and Micro, a four pound chihuahua that would benefit greatly from trips to a psychiatrist.
